About the Role
This role supports a program of ongoing improvements to the existing operating platform, focusing initially on facilitating the onboarding of additional assets for the Mercer Direct Investment Unit (DIU) and enhancing scalability while reducing operational risk.
Responsibilities
- Define tasks and milestones for implementing platform improvements and ensure their successful execution.
- Direct Business Analysts to document requirements aligned with stakeholder expectations in Investments and Operations.
- Engage specialist stakeholders (Operational Risk, Data, Architecture, etc.) at appropriate stages.
- Oversee thorough testing and documentation of improvements before production rollout.
- Escalate issues and risks with recommendations for management or mitigation.
- Analyze the impact of new requests on existing work and prioritize accordingly.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Change Management function within the DIU.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an asset management-based, project management role.
- Proven track record delivering change/transformation projects using Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
- Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and Jira/Confluence.
- Competence in project planning software.
- Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to self-manage and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
