About the Role
As a Technical Lead within Retail Life, you will shape the future of AI-led insurance by influencing the design, building, and scaling of modern technology solutions. You will provide hands-on technical leadership, guide delivery in a cloud-native environment, set technical direction, uplift engineering practices, and drive innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own solution designs across squads and technologies, ensuring scalable and well-architected outcomes.
- Deliver high-quality software solutions into production that create value for customers and the business.
- Drive automation across delivery processes and technical solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Champion DevSecOps practices to improve quality, speed, stability and release excellence.
- Ensure delivery aligns with architectural roadmaps and technology strategy.
- Coach teams on engineering best practice across testing, security, design patterns and code quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams and driving technical delivery outcomes.
- Strong hands-on software development experience across modern technology stacks.
- Experience delivering large and complex transformation or migration initiatives.
- Expertise with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD automation and production-grade platforms.
- Experience applying AI-assisted development approaches and delivering outcomes through modern engineering practices.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capabilities.
