About the Role

Working from our Chullora Distribution Centre, this role monitors and controls the transportation and distribution of Bega products to meet business needs while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs. Tasks involve managing daily logistics, evaluating transport options, analyzing truck/container needs, and improving distribution processes. This role is ideal for someone with logistics/warehousing experience eager to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all transport related activities by acting as the key point of contact for 3PL operations and internal sales teams
Collaboration to ensure strong partnerships with key stakeholders including manufacturing, sales and wider logistics team
Support delivery of network efficiencies, partnering with logistics team, network partners & suppliers to drive project objectives.
Development and coaching of DC team members as well as ensuring collaboration with onsite transport team

Requirements

Strong understanding of logistics networks, including transport and warehousing
Exceptional customer service skills and a collaborative approach to build critical relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience in managing facilities and contractor management is preferred
Eagerness to learn and develop into this role and beyond
Good IT skills, preferably have experience in SAP, CRM and TMS.
Must hold a current Australian driver’s license.
