About the Role
State Street's RFP & Sales Enablement team is seeking a Sales Enablement & Proposal Specialist to support strategic business opportunities and revenue growth across Japan. This role involves collaborating with senior sales and business leaders on client and growth initiatives, developing client-facing content, and coordinating business opportunities across multiple functions and regions. The position is ideal for individuals interested in proposal management, sales enablement, and commercial initiatives within a global organization, welcoming candidates from financial services, consulting, professional services, technology, and other business-facing environments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and other client-driven requests.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder contributions to support high-quality submissions.
- Partner with subject matter experts across the organisation to develop accurate, compelling, and client-focused responses.
- Maintain and enhance proposal content, knowledge repositories, and related processes.
- Develop client presentations, sales materials, business cases, market insights, and other client-facing content.
- Support strategic business opportunities, deal structuring activities, and internal approval processes.
- Assist with opportunity analysis, reporting, and business planning activities.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve sales effectiveness, collaboration, and commercial execution.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in financial services, consulting, professional services, technology, or a related business environment.
- Experience in proposal management, sales enablement, business development support, project coordination, client-facing content development, or related business functions.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English.
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong written communication and presentation development capabilities.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and ownership.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across teams, functions, and geographies.
