About the Role
As a Plant Finance Partner-Saitama plant, you will support the financial performance of a key manufacturing site by delivering financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and business insights. You will work closely with manufacturing and business leaders to help drive better decision-making, improve business performance, and support strategic initiatives. This role offers broad exposure across financial planning, performance management, and business partnering in a dynamic global environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly financial closing and reporting activities.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Analyze financial performance and explain key business variances.
- Develop dashboards, presentations, and management reports.
- Support process improvements and finance system enhancements.
- Partner with operational leaders to drive value creation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university
- Minimum of 3 years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, monthly closing, and financial analysis
- Knowledge of cost management and performance management
- Experience partnering with business functions and stakeholders
- Business-level English proficiency and fluency in Japanese
Skills
- Experience in plant finance within a global company
- Experience in management accounting and cost accounting at a manufacturing site
- Experience in capital investment planning and investment management
- Proven experience leading business transformation and process improvement initiatives
- Experience with data analysis and the use of digital tools for business decision-making
