- Create and maintain automated tests and perform manual validation to support reliable releases.
- Deliver iterative enhancements using agile methods, balancing speed with operational excellence.
- Partner with product and business analysis to refine requirements, define scope, and contribute to estimates and delivery plans.
- Integrate ServiceNow with upstream/downstream systems using APIs, events, and scalable data patterns.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement durable fixes.
- Contribute to operational readiness (runbooks, monitoring considerations, release checklists) to improve service reliability.
- Leverage enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery (e.g., refactoring, test creation, documentation) while validating outputs via review, testing, and secure coding standards.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and practical feedback; strengthen team agile practices and engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience
- Hands-on experience implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong JavaScript proficiency.
- Practical experience with Angular/AngularJS patterns relevant to ServiceNow UI development.
- Ability to design and build self-contained, reusable, and testable modules/components.

- Experience across the SDLC (plan, build, test, release, operate) in an agile environment.
- Solid understanding of application, data, and infrastructure architecture and cross-system design patterns.
- Experience building and/or supporting integrations using APIs (e.g., REST/SOAP) and related authentication/error-handling patterns.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools within the work environment, with demonstrated ability to validate outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
