About the Role
Build the marketing engine behind a new way of protecting the world's crops. This is the first dedicated marketing hire at BioScout, a growing AgTech company with a patent-protected sensor technology for detecting airborne crop disease. The role offers the opportunity to own marketing end-to-end in a company that has product-market fit and is scaling its operations.
Responsibilities
- Own the events strategy and calendar, including conference selection, securing presence, and opportunity generation.
- Build sales enablement materials, including case studies, one-pagers, and pitch decks.
- Design and execute email and lifecycle marketing campaigns for lead nurturing and pipeline support.
- Own product positioning, translating technical features into language for non-technical audiences.
- Manage global brand identity, setting guidelines and overseeing creative partners.
- Adapt messaging for different markets, focusing on ANZ and key European growth markets.
- Utilize AI tools for content creation across various channels.
- Maintain social media consistency and manage a part-time team member and intern.
- Provide market feedback to sales and product teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience building marketing functions in lean, startup environments.
- Strategic thinking with a hands-on execution approach.
- Depth in B2B demand generation and events-led growth.
- Comfortable managing multiple marketing channels.
- Strong writing skills for simplifying complex products.
- Understanding of high-value, educational sales cycles.
- Resilience in a scaling startup environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience marketing physical or hardware-plus-software products is advantageous.
- Background in agriculture or AgTech is a plus.
- Awareness of European and LATAM markets is a bonus.
