About the Role

Represents the face of Quest Diagnostics to patients, drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing. This role directs daily activity at a Patient Service Center or In-Office Phlebotomy site, potentially leading other phlebotomists. The position emphasizes process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in patient information.

Responsibilities

• Draws quality blood samples from patients.
• Prepares specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
• Creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients.
• Explains procedures to patients.
• Draws blood specimens skillfully, safely, and accurately.
• Directs daily activity at a Patient Service Center or In-Office Phlebotomy site.
• Leads one or more phlebotomists on site.
• Demonstrates Quest Leadership Behaviors.
• Focuses on process excellence skills.
• Maintains sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.

Salary/Compensations

• $20.44 - $30.65 / hour
