About the Role
Fogo de Chão is seeking a Bartender to provide an unforgettable dining experience by showcasing the Culinary Art of Churrasco. This role involves crafting beverages, interacting with guests, and ensuring responsible alcohol service.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers, determining beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking orders
- Informing customers about new beverages and specials
- Responding to customer questions about menu items, making recommendations, and upselling
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages
- Checking identification to ensure legal age for alcohol purchase
- Providing responsible service of alcoholic beverages, complying with laws and regulations
- Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked
- Preparing and serving menu items according to Fogo de Chao recipes and guidelines
- Handling multiple tables and tasks efficiently, cleaning and clearing tables
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring accuracy, and balancing the cash register
- Educating self and assisting co-workers in understanding basic bar vocabulary
- Performing all reasonable tasks assigned by management
