About the Role
The Curriculum Specialist will partner with sales and product management teams to support the sales process for K-12 literacy solutions across the Southwest territory. This role involves building relationships with educational decision-makers, delivering product presentations, providing post-sales support, and ensuring customer success through expert knowledge of pedagogy and company offerings.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to meeting and exceeding team sales quotas in the Southwest market
- Create and present compelling presentations for exhibits, conferences, workshops, and sales meetings
- Develop and maintain relationships with key K-12 decision-makers
- Gather and relay customer feedback to sales, product, and marketing teams
- Maintain product expertise through certification and training processes
- Conduct product activation training for new and existing accounts
- Facilitate professional learning workshops for districts and at conferences
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of print and digital literacy solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and resolve customer satisfaction issues
- Provide consistent customer service to foster loyalty throughout the sales cycle
- Manage timekeeping and expenses in accordance with company policies
Requirements
- Reside in Texas, preferably near a major airport (Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, or Houston)
- 5+ years of K-12 education experience including classroom teaching
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
- Ability to travel 40-60% of the time, including overnight stays, evenings, and weekends
- Flexibility to adjust travel schedule at short notice
