About the Role

Artificial Analysis is scaling rapidly and requires a Business Operations Manager to own the operational load of growth, including finance, contracts, and onboarding. This is a high-visibility role reporting to the Chief of Staff, working directly with founders, and handling sensitive company information. The ideal candidate is sharp, fast, discreet, and proactive, with the potential to grow into an operations leadership position.

Responsibilities

  • Own Finance Operations: Invoicing and receivables, accounts payable, expense management, monthly close, and reporting on run rate and trajectory.
  • Own Contract Administration: Manage customer and vendor agreements, NDAs, and data protection agreements, including signature workflows, renewals, and risk assessment.
  • Own Customer and Supplier Onboarding: Manage the operational setup for new customers and vendors, including contracts, billing, procurement, and system access.
  • Run the Office and Guest Experience: Manage the San Francisco office, guest visits, team events, offsites, and travel.
  • Run Onboarding and People Operations: Manage equipment, system access, payroll setup, and new joiner logistics, as well as people and immigration operations.
  • Support the Leadership Operating Cadence: Prepare materials, track actions and decisions, and ensure progress.
  • Systematize and Automate: Evaluate, implement, and own operational tooling, manage compliance initiatives, and replace manual processes with AI-native workflows.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated excellence, both academically and professionally.
  • Fast ability to build rapport and trust with senior stakeholders.
  • 3+ years in business operations, finance operations, or a chief-of-staff-adjacent role in a high-growth environment.
  • Extreme organization and follow-through.
  • Discretion and sound judgment with sensitive information.
  • Comfort with numbers: invoices, budgets, reconciliations, and ability to spot discrepancies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
