About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Coupa Technical Architect to lead end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solution design and integrations within a global enterprise environment. This senior managerial role requires translating business strategy into scalable solutions, leading technical teams, and driving best practices across the implementation lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical architecture for P2P, Sourcing, Invoicing, Contracts, and Expenses modules.
• Define scalable, secure, and compliant solution blueprints aligned with global business processes.
• Validate integration strategies with ERP systems, middleware, and third-party applications.
• Provide design authority for workflows, data models, approval chains, and supplier enablement.
• Drive technical delivery across multiple modules and workstreams.
• Collaborate with functional leads to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Review technical builds and configurations to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Manage and guide vendor, offshore, and internal development teams.
• Architect integrations using Coupa APIs, cXML, SFTP, Web Services, and middleware tools.
• Oversee data migration strategy, including mapping, extraction, and validation.
• Implement automation, error-handling, and monitoring frameworks.
• Interface with senior stakeholders for architectural guidance and roadmap planning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Coupa.
• Minimum of 2–3 full-cycle Coupa implementations.
• Deep understanding of P2P, Sourcing, Contracts, Invoicing, Expenses, and Supplier Portal modules.
• Expertise in REST APIs, cXML, flat-file integrations, SFTP, and middleware platforms.
• Strong command of ERP integration flows with SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier networks, master data, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in workflow design, custom fields, and configuration logic.
• Ability to design enterprise-level procurement and spend management architectures.
