About the Role
As a Manager or Senior Manager in the Financial Modelling team, you will lead engagements, develop client relationships, mentor team members, and contribute to practice growth. You will work on complex, high-impact engagements, helping clients make confident business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, review, and delivery of complex financial models.
- Build and maintain models supporting transactions, forecasting, budgeting, valuations, business planning, and investment decisions.
- Prepare clear and concise model documentation and reporting.
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with modelling best practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing commercial insights and practical solutions.
- Liaise with banks, lawyers, brokers, and other professional advisors throughout engagements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
- Coordinate resources and project deliverables across engagement teams.
- Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Coach, mentor, and develop junior team members.
- Support business development activities, proposals, and client presentations.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for growth within existing and prospective client relationships.
Requirements
- Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major.
- CA qualification (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in financial modelling within Professional Services or a commercial environment.
- Advanced financial modelling skills and technical proficiency across Excel, Macros, VBA, BI, and data visualisation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and report writing skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing client engagements and project deliverables.
- Strong ethical standards and professional judgement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience working with banks, lawyers, brokers, and other professional advisors.
- Exposure to business development activities and client acquisition (desirable).
- Experience mentoring and leading high-performing teams (desirable).
