About the Role

Step into the fast-paced world of New York-Presbyterian! At New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Laboratory Professionals are redefining the limits of science and medicine. In this position as Technical Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to be a Lab Leader, plan and develop new techniques, assays and methods while providing technical guidance, and organize and coordinate all technical functions and activities of the Lab.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 years in specialized testing
New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License from New York Education Department
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field of science
Excellent technical skills, including method development and training skills
Cognitive ability to develop and troubleshoot sophisticated analytical procedures
All roles require on-site presence
Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP
