About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain in-store and window displays through regular store visits.
- Drive strategic visual merchandising initiatives aligned with brand image and business objectives.
- Implement and adapt visual merchandising guidelines in stores in collaboration with Headquarters and regional teams.
- Develop localized VM guidelines and Zoning plans to support implementation.
- Support the set-up of new boutiques, renovations, and events, including overnight work when required.
- Maximize sales for the assigned category (Jewellery, Watch, Accessory) and provide VM support.
- Prepare and distribute installation reports and VM application updates.
- Coordinate display tool orders with HQ and RID based on approved budget.
- Manage VM tool orders and coordinate with local suppliers.
- Replace and maintain display materials as needed.
- Support boutique renewals and new openings in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Develop and improve VM guideline, display training manuals, and training tools for boutique staff.
- Provide regular display training programs to boutique staff through on-the-job training and hands-on coaching.
- Organize boutique VM collective training sessions annually.
- Prepare VM materials and provide display support for international and local events.
- Monitor local production and project progress, providing regular updates to the VM manager.
- Strengthen the VM mindset and build strong relationships with boutique managers and staff through regular visits.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of assigned boutiques, including layout, façade windows, and fixture dimensions.
- Support and manage assigned projects in collaboration with team members.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to managers.
- Update the annual PLV forecast and obtain budget approval from the manager.
Requirements
- Senior VM Planner: At least 5 years of visual merchandising experience in a retail environment for a luxury or designer brand.
- VM Planner: 1-2 years of visual merchandising experience in a retail environment for a luxury or designer brand.
- Native-level Japanese and conversational English proficiency or above.
Skills
- Microsoft Office (PowerPoint / Excel / Word)
- Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator (a plus)
- Strong passion for Watch & Jewellery or luxury brands.
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take ownership of responsibilities.
Experience Level
