About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Carer to join the Frederick Guest Hostel in Bull Creek. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality personal care to residents, fostering a homely environment while upholding our award-winning model of care.

Responsibilities

  • Support resident physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing through individualized care.
  • Assist with care needs according to established care plans.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a harmonious working environment.
  • Advocate for the rights of older people.
  • Assist with personal hygiene, showering, and toileting.
  • Support activities of daily living, including dressing and grooming.
  • Assist with meal times and feeding.
  • Administer medication.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to develop understanding relationships with residents.
  • Previous experience administering medications.
  • Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months.
  • NDIS Screen Check.
  • Evidence of current Flu vaccination.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
  • Availability to attend a compulsory 4-day induction at the Rivervale Training Institute.
  • Commitment to the specified roster of 41 hours per fortnight.
