About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Carer to join the Frederick Guest Hostel in Bull Creek. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality personal care to residents, fostering a homely environment while upholding our award-winning model of care.
Responsibilities
- Support resident physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing through individualized care.
- Assist with care needs according to established care plans.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a harmonious working environment.
- Advocate for the rights of older people.
- Assist with personal hygiene, showering, and toileting.
- Support activities of daily living, including dressing and grooming.
- Assist with meal times and feeding.
- Administer medication.
Requirements
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to develop understanding relationships with residents.
- Previous experience administering medications.
- Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months.
- NDIS Screen Check.
- Evidence of current Flu vaccination.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
- Availability to attend a compulsory 4-day induction at the Rivervale Training Institute.
- Commitment to the specified roster of 41 hours per fortnight.
