About the Role

Join our vibrant, collaborative Partner Tax Services team, where enthusiasm, camaraderie, and genuine support underpin our dynamic environment. Our Partner Tax Services team manages the tax advisory, compliance, and governance of our Deloitte Partners and their family groups. Each day brings variety and challenge as you advise on a diverse range of scenarios, always maintaining a sharp focus on quality and client satisfaction. You will develop your leadership skills, build strong relationships, deepen your tax expertise, and contribute to the culture of the team.

Responsibilities

Manage your own portfolio of internal clients
Review financial accounts and tax returns for a variety of entities
Provide specialist tax advice and planning
Monitor workflow and lodgement deadlines
Mentor upcoming talent
Assist the leadership with complex projects
Manage dealings with the ATO
Work closely with our offshore processing team

Requirements

Proven experience managing a tax compliance programme
Solid understanding of Australian accounting and tax laws with a strong knowledge on trusts and Division 7a
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work autonomously
