About the Role

As a Senior Analyst in the Valuations team, you will deliver high-quality services across diverse industries. You will manage small to medium engagements, contribute to complex projects, and provide commercially focused advice. This role offers exposure to transaction-related work, independent expert reports, financial reporting valuations, and expert witness matters.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare business and equity valuations for mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions
  • Assist in preparing Independent Expert Reports for ASIC and ASX purposes
  • Support the preparation of Expert Witness Reports for litigation and family law matters
  • Assist in preparing Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) valuation reports for business acquisition accounting
  • Prepare valuations of options, financial instruments, and derivatives
  • Conduct industry, market, and company research to support valuation engagements
  • Assist with engagement planning, project delivery, and assignment administration
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

Requirements

  • Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major
  • 2-4 years of experience in a professional services environment in a similar role
  • Valuations experience, preferably within Corporate Finance, Advisory, or Consulting
  • Completed or near-completed CA qualification or equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills
