About the Role
As a Senior Analyst in the Valuations team, you will deliver high-quality services across diverse industries. You will manage small to medium engagements, contribute to complex projects, and provide commercially focused advice. This role offers exposure to transaction-related work, independent expert reports, financial reporting valuations, and expert witness matters.
Responsibilities
- Prepare business and equity valuations for mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions
- Assist in preparing Independent Expert Reports for ASIC and ASX purposes
- Support the preparation of Expert Witness Reports for litigation and family law matters
- Assist in preparing Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) valuation reports for business acquisition accounting
- Prepare valuations of options, financial instruments, and derivatives
- Conduct industry, market, and company research to support valuation engagements
- Assist with engagement planning, project delivery, and assignment administration
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
Requirements
- Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major
- 2-4 years of experience in a professional services environment in a similar role
- Valuations experience, preferably within Corporate Finance, Advisory, or Consulting
- Completed or near-completed CA qualification or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
