About the Role

Real Estate Acquisition Managers are crucial for expanding Voltera's EV charging network by identifying, negotiating, and securing strategic real estate opportunities. This role involves significant field work, building relationships with stakeholders, and leading commercial negotiations to establish high-potential projects.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, source, negotiate, and execute strategic real estate opportunities to support network expansion.
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop and execute real estate acquisition strategy.
  • Conduct site visits and feasibility assessments for prospective charging locations.
  • Manage the acquisition pipeline, including site screening, market analysis, and financial evaluation.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with property owners, developers, brokers, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key real estate owners, developers, and strategic partners.
  • Coordinate due diligence with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate, retail site selection, infrastructure development, or a related field.
  • Self-starter with high drive, resilience, and persistence, thriving in a results-oriented environment.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting and tackle complex challenges.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and a process-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize competing priorities, and drive projects forward with minimal oversight.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region and occasionally to other regions.
  • Must be located in one of the cities listed in the job posting.
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.
