About the Role
This newly established leadership role provides strategic and operational leadership across NSW Procurement's Governance and Information Services functions. The Associate Director will lead two teams responsible for governance, accreditation, digital content, and information services, ensuring priorities are aligned, services are integrated, and outcomes are delivered effectively. As a key member of the Capability & Governance leadership team, the role is responsible for developing team capability, driving continuous improvement, managing operational performance, and providing strategic advice on governance and information service delivery.

Requirements
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple teams in a complex organisation.
- Strong governance, assurance, risk, information management or procurement experience, ideally within government or a regulated environment.
- Experience supporting executive or Board-level governance processes.
- Demonstrated success delivering digital, information management or service delivery improvements.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and consultation skills.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
- Will be required to undergo background checks and provide confirmation of tertiary academic qualifications before commencement.
