About the Role
As an Institutional Associate, you will provide support to the PH&N Institutional team, with a primary focus on private markets including real estate and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of market conditions and institutional private market investments.
- Support client, consultant, and prospect interactions by creating content for presentations and client communications.
- Contribute to research and analysis efforts, including white papers, podcasts, portfolio structuring, product development, risk modelling, and seminars.
- Support institutional portfolio managers on client relationships, including market analysis, chart and slide creation, and client reporting.
- Respond to information requests, manage cash flows, monitor compliance, and structure mandates.
- Collaborate with various teams to facilitate the construction and maintenance of investment management agreements, mandate documents, and investment policies.
- Develop proficiency in areas of coverage to become a subject matter expert.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree; commerce, math/engineering or economics preferred.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years investment / financial services (or related) industry experience.
- CFA charter holder, candidate, or willingness to pursue the designation.
- Passion for capital markets and a strong desire to learn.
- Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritize & multi-task in a dynamic office environment 5 days per week.
