About the Role
The Senior Lead Engineer, Software develops, debugs, tests, deploys, and supports code for various applications. They write, debug, maintain, and test software across different levels of the hierarchy, following development processes like Agile and Scrum, and adhering to product lifecycle development. This role involves working in cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product development and enhancing designs based on feedback from various reviews.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions in multiple domains.
- Participate in project planning and scheduling.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers.
- Review, interpret, and negotiate customer requirements/specifications.
- Provide customer feedback.
- Lead the deployment of strategic programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts.
- Proactively promote industry best practices.
- Manage relationships with key vendors/partners.
- Analyze, design, and develop tests and test-automation suites.
- Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies.
- Test software development methodology.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with customers, users, project managers, and other engineers.
- Conduct Peer-Reviews to achieve elegant solutions.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work alongside other engineers to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
- Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations.
Requirements
- Ability to manage/lead complex, multiple line engineering projects that may also involve other functions.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of the technical, financial, and people aspects of the project.
- Able to create a project/change management plan and ensure project delivery within assigned time and budget.
- Ability to recognize project barriers and develop mitigation plans.

- Ability to create financial plans for projects, align them internally and externally.
- Create project plans, profitability calculations, risk and sensitivity analysis.
- Able to recognize barriers and mitigate profitability risks.
- Fully knowledgeable about internal and external financial reporting, accounting, and tax requirements relevant to the area of expertise.
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements are frequently required.
- Occasional travel may be required.
