About the Role

Serve as a key scientific contributor to multiple platforms within Advanced Technologies, developing novel methods, models, and strategies for claim support and scientific asset generation. Elevate formula efficacy and enhance the company's market position through innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop novel methods, models, and strategies for claim support and generation of scientific assets.
  • Support innovation with new concepts, technologies, testing, and communications.
  • Inspire the team toward a common vision by being a role model and point of reference for scientific substantiation of innovative skin biology concepts.
  • Lead a junior scientist in generating and reporting scientific data for new claims substantiation, providing scientific training, mentorship, and overseeing experimentation.
  • Interact with colleagues within the ATP community, clinical testing, legal/regulatory, and other R&I groups to bring innovative technologies to brands.
  • Develop new biological concepts, design and execute scientific experiments, and report data in consideration of ELC standards of scientific rigor and compliance.
  • Manage multiple upstream platforms and pillars within the AT department, providing scientific guidance and execution of projects.
  • Develop PDP goals, evaluate performance, and provide feedback and career guidance to the direct team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 9 years of experience.

Experience Level

  • Masters (with 1-2 years of experience) or a fresh PhD

Salary/Compensations

  • $115,000.00 to $125,000.00
  • Eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
