About the Role

The Sports Medicine division provides products and technologies for arthroscopic surgery, particularly for repairing ligament and meniscus injuries in the shoulder and knee. This role supports orthopedic surgeons and sports doctors, aiding in the recovery of a wide range of patients from athletes to the elderly.
Responsibilities
- Achieve budget and profit targets by increasing market share with existing customers and acquiring new ones.
- Acquire sufficient knowledge of company products and sales skills, passing certification tests.
- Thoroughly report, communicate, and consult.
- Promote the execution of business challenges.
- Effectively utilize OPEX and sales expenses, improving operational efficiency with a focus on profit.
- Conduct sales activities in compliance with regulations.
- Assist the Sales Manager and demonstrate leadership to team members as a role model.
- Develop and manage sales plans for existing and new facilities, clarifying adoption plans and target amounts.
- Confirm progress towards goals monthly and quarterly with superiors to establish plans for budget achievement.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage the use of more products.
- Foster good relationships with special agents to promote sales.
- Continuously strive to improve skills by staying updated on product and competitor information.
- Apply knowledge gained from passing product-specific certification tests to sales activities.
- Report daily activities and share information.
- Immediately report any on-site troubles to superiors without concealment.
- Effectively manage and operate loaner/consignment inventory.
- Complete inventory counts by the deadline.
- Effectively utilize sales-related expenses (sample costs, sales activity expenses) within budget.
- Manage inventory operations (samples, long-term loans, consignment, repair replacements) considering OPEX.
- Adhere to travel expense reporting rules.
- Understand and practice that all sales activities comply with industry and company regulations, with no exceptions.
- Complete and adhere to internal web training by the deadline.
- Ensure acquisition of clinical trial forms, witness confirmation, and loan agreements.
- Comply with traffic laws.
- Take charge of multiple key facilities within the district, branch, or sales office.
- Achieve results by exceeding the average sales department budget by 10%.
- Engage in new facility acquisition (continued adoption) for the division's goals at multiple facilities approved by the Sales Director annually.
- Participate in human resource development, such as planning and conducting study sessions for new employees.
- Proactively engage in sales activities as 'One Smith & Nephew'.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor's degree.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Requires sales experience (approximately 2-3 years or more).
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is desirable.
- Must be willing to travel domestically and potentially internationally (for doctor support, etc.).
