About the Role

Aviso is seeking a Bilingual Learning & Development Specialist for a 14-month term to develop and deliver best-in-class training programs to CUW Advisor Partners, ensuring content is current, accurate, and effectively delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design and development of technical training programs for advisors, associates, assistants, and leaders, including scoping learning objectives, understanding target audiences, determining activities, collateral requirements, and resourcing.
  • Deliver live training via webinar and maintain/expand the library of recorded/e-learning training modules for advisor business systems (Dataphile, proprietary software, etc.).
  • Build and maintain an inventory of advisor-friendly resources and tools, such as reference guides, process maps, helpful hints, best practices, and FAQs.
  • Provide in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of relevant business areas, including products, policies, practices, systems, and procedures.
  • Liaise with Subject Matter Experts for content validation during the design and development process.
  • Stay current on CIRO-ID & CIRO-MF regulations and other education requirements.
  • Conduct assessments of internal departmental training needs and assist with content development and implementation.
  • Assess, track, and report continuing education credits for the advisor network.
  • Work on a variety of training projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of wealth management experience (investment and/or insurance industry).
  • Experience with advisor training, including electronic course design/delivery, in-person training, and/or virtual training.
  • Familiarity with learning design/delivery software (e.g., Articulate, Vyond) and LMS functionalities.
  • Demonstrated content development and instructional design experience is an asset.
  • Ability to deliver learning through various means including virtual classroom, webinars, self-paced learning, seminars, and conference calls.
  • Must understand and apply adult teaching principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate and present ideas and information.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proactive, self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Well-organized and able to work effectively to deadlines.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Results-oriented, demonstrating ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player.
