About the Role

As a professorial lead, you will define the research direction for machine learning within the School of Computer, Data and Mathematical Sciences. You will shape research, teaching, and engagement initiatives, mentor academic staff and higher degree research candidates, and lead curriculum development to prepare graduates for research and industry careers. The role involves building partnerships with industry, government, and employers while contributing to leadership in the responsible and trustworthy use of AI.
