About the Role

Iskalo Development Corp. is seeking a talented and motivated Architect to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects including new construction, historic rehabilitation and adaptive reuse, commercial office and mixed-use developments, hospitality projects, and tenant improvements and renovations. You'll work directly for the owner and developer, collaborating with various internal teams throughout every phase of a project, seeing your ideas become reality while helping create buildings that make a lasting impact on our community.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and design solutions for new construction, renovations, adaptive reuse, and tenant improvement projects.
• Prepare construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and specifications.
• Create 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials to support project planning and presentations.
• Coordinate with consulting engineers, contractors, code officials, and other project stakeholders throughout design and construction.
• Collaborate closely with our Development, Construction, Leasing, and Property Management teams to deliver successful projects.
• Conduct site visits during design and construction to review existing conditions, monitor progress, and resolve field issues.
• Support permitting, code review, construction administration, RFIs, and submittmits.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, accuracy, and project schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
• 3-7 years of architectural design experience
• Proficiency in Revit
• Working knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and applicable building codes
• Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally to project sites
• Master's Degree in Architecture
• Experience with commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, or adaptive reuse projects
• Experience managing projects from schematic design through construction administration
• Architectural licensure is welcomed but not required. Candidates actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
• Ability to travel to local project sites and affiliate properties
• Ability to walk active construction sites and occasionally lift project materials or equipment
