About the Role
As a Structural Bridge Engineer in the New York, NY office and a core member of our Transportation Practice, you will be involved in all phases of bridge rehabilitation and design projects including planning, scheduling, inspection, analysis, design, cost estimating, technical specifications, and reports. You will work with a team of multi-disciplinary engineers while providing technical guidance to CADD personnel. We will help you achieve your goals through continuous professional development and career progression. This is a full-time position starting Summer 2027.
Responsibilities
- Designing projects or components of projects from conception through construction.
- Conducting analyses, developing calculations, interpreting data, recognizing problems, and finding solutions.
- Adhering to corporate quality control standards within your discipline.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- EIT License in NY.
- 0+ years of experience in structural engineering for infrastructure.
- Experience with NYSDOT, NYCDOT, PANYNJ, MTA (B&T, NYCT, MNR, LIRR).
- Knowledge of AASHTO design methods, standards, and specifications.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Load ratings and bridge inspection is a plus.
