About the Role
Lead a well-established 64-bed residential aged care home, driving operational performance, financial sustainability, and clinical governance. Ensure residents receive exceptional care while the home operates efficiently and meets compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong operational and clinical leadership across all aspects of the home
- Drive operational performance through effective financial management, workforce planning, rostering and resource allocation
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional relationship-centred care
- Ensure ongoing compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation requirements and legislative obligations
- Monitor and improve clinical, operational and customer experience outcomes through continuous improvement initiatives
- Build trusted relationships with residents, families, employees and the local community
- Foster a positive, accountable and high-performing workplace culture
Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing qualification
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- At least five years' experience leading multidisciplinary teams within aged care, healthcare or a related sector
- Demonstrated success managing the operational performance of a residential aged care service, including budgeting, financial oversight, workforce planning and rostering
- Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC funding
- A proven track record of leading quality improvement and achieving positive operational and clinical outcomes
- Availability to be on call after hours (phone) 1 week in 9 supporting Residential Managers across the region
- Willingness to obtain a Police Check and NDIS Worker Check
