Responsibilities

  • Be aware of and assure that all assigned personnel comply with government regulations and company safety policies and procedures including safety training, safety meetings and inspections
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations for all direct reporting employees
  • Cooperate with all other Heritage Cooperative locations to promote the most efficient use of personnel and equipment
  • Ensure all branch employees receive required training for assigned tasks
  • Fulfill customer orders in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Greet and support customer needs in a polite, professional and positive manner
  • Implement sound inventory control procedures and report accurate inventory measurements when required
  • Interview, hire, and release all branch personnel
  • Manage inventory and condition of agronomy products; fertilizer, crop protection, and seed
  • Overall supervision of the day-to-day operations of the branch
  • Oversee preventative maintenance on all branch equipment to obtain the maximum efficiency possible and ensure the longevity of all fixed assets
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements

  • Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to frequently sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or carry heavy objects no more than 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
  • Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc.
  • Valid Driver’s License, with acceptable driving record
  • Outstanding Organizational and Time-Management Skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Respectable Mechanical Skills
  • Evidence of work authorization upon employment is required in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
  • Completion of USCIS form I-9 will be required in order to verify employment eligibility within 3 business days of the first day of employment.
