About the Role
This role supports the Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance to help Mercer Super navigate a complex regulatory environment and deliver compliant, risk-aware outcomes for members. You will join the team during an important period of uplift across risk management and compliance, contributing to framework development, regulatory change activity and practical compliance support across the business.
Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance in delivering compliance activities and framework uplift across Mercer Super
- Maintain the Compliance Management Framework and related compliance policies
- Provide compliance advice, review and challenge to the Line 1 Risk & Controls team and business stakeholders
- Assist with obligations management, conflicts management and regulatory change activities
- Complete due diligence reviews of externally facing regulated documents and contribute to internal and external reporting
- Build effective relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively across Mercer Super and the Marsh Pacific compliance function
Requirements
- Experience in a compliance, risk or legal support role within financial services
- Understanding of governance, risk and compliance practices within a regulated environment
- Ability to assess regulatory obligations and provide practical advice to stakeholders
- Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across the organisation
- Appropriate approval to work in Australia
- Successful applicants will be required to complete a criminal & bankruptcy check prior to commencement of employment
