About the Role
The Director of Human Resources provides strategic leadership for Care Compass, developing scalable HR infrastructure and fostering a culture that attracts, develops, and retains talent. This role partners with executive leadership in an innovative environment and serves as a trusted HR advisor to community agencies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with the organizational strategic plan.
- Advise senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, succession planning, and compensation.
- Develop supervisor and manager capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention, and performance management processes.
- Manage HR operations including employee relations, benefits, policy development, and labor law compliance.
- Serve as a regional subject matter expert by supporting partner organizations and developing HR toolkits.
- Utilize workforce analytics to monitor engagement, turnover, and organizational performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support enterprise initiatives and strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute).
- 3-5 years of experience as an HR Manager.
- Expert knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
- Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience facilitating meetings in-person or via virtual platforms like Zoom.
