About the Role
The Analyst, Crew Analytics, is responsible for mining, analyzing, and reporting on complex crew and operational data to support the Crew Analytics team’s goal of influencing crew-related decisions, strategy formulation, and process improvements. This role partners with various departments to ensure crew data is accurate, consumable, and actionable.
Responsibilities
- Produce innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from complex and high-dimensional datasets.
- Acquire in-depth business knowledge and gather/analyze complex information using various data sources.
- Assist in crew database development.
- Support the building and maintenance of internal crew analytics dashboards using Business Intelligence tools.
- Work with Business Customers to develop technological and analytical solutions.
- Apply analytical experience to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make discoveries for problem-solving, decision support, and process changes.
- Report weekly crew metrics and findings to multiple levels of the organization.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis to support the team.
- Support operational and financial efficiency projects and business cases for Flight and Inflight.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Aviation or related field, OR demonstrated capability with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant experience.
- One (1) year of experience in an analytical role.
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Strong capabilities with database querying (e.g., SQL) and/or high-level programming language(s) (such as Python, R or Visual Basic).
- Demonstrate SQL skills, data analysis skills, and the ability to communicate data-driven insights through a work sample assessment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the US is required.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

- $67,000 - $101,000 per year
