About the Role
Meta's Public Affairs AI Campaign is a strategic and visible initiative that is scaling rapidly. This role requires an experienced program manager to enhance operational rigor, speed, and efficiency within a complex, cross-functional effort. The ideal candidate will build systems, drive rhythms, and provide connective tissue to enable campaign leaders and functional experts to perform at their best, focusing on execution infrastructure rather than strategy ownership.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the AI Campaign team to build and maintain cross-functional operating rhythms, ensuring tight coordination across communications, marketing, policy, research, legal, and product teams.
- Support campaign leadership in translating strategy into execution by building roadmaps, maintaining workstream trackers, managing timelines, and ensuring clear ownership and accountability.
- Drive the campaign's day-to-day status reporting, performance tracking, and budget management, surfacing risks and flagging dependencies.
- Develop and scale working models, processes, and systems to improve cross-functional campaign collaboration and efficiency.
- Serve as connective tissue across internal functions, ensuring workstreams are aligned and information flows freely.
- Support the preparation and coordination of leadership reviews and senior stakeholder touchpoints.
- Help build repeatable playbooks and best practices for campaign program management.
- Contribute to developing the broader Public Affairs Campaign Program Management function.
Requirements
- 6+ years of related strategy, operations, consulting, or program/project management experience, including managing complex, cross-functional workstreams.
- Experience building, optimizing, and scaling programs and processes within established teams experiencing growth or transformation.
- Comfortable operating as a trusted partner to senior leaders, influencing without authority, and ensuring follow-through.
- Experience working in complex, high-pressure environments where priorities shift quickly and ambiguity is the norm.
- Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously and maintaining attention to detail.
- Written and verbal communication skills, able to distill complexity into clear, actionable updates.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, drive alignment, and foster cooperation across teams you don't directly manage.
