About the Role
Working as a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Canada is an excellent opportunity to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment. In this role, you play a key part in keeping the store running smoothly by unloading trailers, processing merchandise, and moving pallets to the sales floor, all while maintaining a safe and clean workspace. As part of the team, you help support a positive customer experience and contribute to the store’s success. Responsibilities
- Prepares and resets the Receiving Area and unloads general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise.
- Maintains cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pulls pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
- Assists with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provides customer service when needed to support a positive shopping experience.
- Labels and places overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.
- Follows Company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
- Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
