About the Role
McDougall Energy is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Professional Delivery Driver for its Toronto operation. This seasonal contract role involves the safe transportation of products while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Safety is paramount, and drivers are expected to demonstrate safe driving practices and professional conduct.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk product to client's fleet, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area
- Inventory control of bulk product on truck
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet customer needs
- Use a handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and disposed from the truck
Requirements
- Minimum 2-years driving experience with a valid DZ license
- Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to be a team player
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Numeric ability and strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work a 4 on 4 off / continental shift
- Physically demanding, involving significant lifting and pulling in an outdoor climate
- Successfully pass pre- and random drug & alcohol testing
- Must have a safety and compliance mindset
