About the Role

TO Live is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join the Finance team. This role is responsible for the general ledger, including monthly close, financial statement preparation, and overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end and year-end close, journals, reconciliations, and accruals
  • Prepare monthly financial and management reports, including Budget vs. Actual analysis
  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management daily functions
  • Supervise and train staff
  • Review inventory, assets, treasury transactions, and daily accounting routines
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory filings
  • Support the annual audit process
  • Monitor cash flow activities and requirements
  • Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements
  • Coordinate and resolve banking issues as the primary bank liaison
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidance and internal policies
  • Serve as backup to the Controller
  • Contribute to department and organization special projects

Requirements

  • Five to eight years of experience in full cycle accounting, financial analysis, and financial statement preparation
  • Industry experience in an NFP or theatre operations environment is an asset
  • Completion of the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) program is an asset
  • Strong financial system and reporting proficiency
  • In-depth spreadsheet modeling skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexibility to work nights, statutory holidays, and weekends as required
  • Ability to travel between TO Live venues
