About the Role

Our Austin, TX Entertainment & Live Events team insures a variety of clients in the music, live event, film, theater, and production industries. We are seeking a detail-focused individual with prior experience handling transactional documents to join our team as an Account Assistant for the Contingency team, focused on tailored coverage programs for major music festivals and global artist tours.

Responsibilities

  • Effective and timely communication with all clients via email, letters & telephone
  • Collect and coordinate client and event information
  • Prepare accurate, timely, professional, and compliant presentations, reports, and other market and client documents
  • Review client contracts and insurance requirements
  • Detailed review of insurance policy documentation
  • Maintain and update electronic client files

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of experience handling review and proofreading of contracts and transactional documents is strongly preferred
  • Strong administrative skills and high attention to detail/accuracy
  • Curiosity and an eagerness to learn
  • Self-starter and enjoys variety in work
  • Strong, professional communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to learn and understand software systems quickly
  • Adaptability to priority changes and deadlines
  • Consistently quick to respond to and/or acknowledge communications

Experience Level

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working in insurance brokerage, mortgage brokerage, banking, law firm, or financial services company, responsible for handling review and proofreading of contracts and other transactional documents

Education Level

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

Salary/Compensations

  • Compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, education, internal equity, and market data.
  • This role may also be eligible for bonuses
