About the Role
Our Corporate Finance team is one of Australia’s leading turnaround, restructuring and insolvency practices, with a market-leading track record delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients and their key stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Assist with trading a business under Administration, including processing transactions, managing employees, and reporting to creditors.
- Manage the sale process of a company's business and/or assets.
- Prepare for and attend creditors meetings.
- Conduct investigations into company failures and compile reports for ASIC and creditors.
- Liaise with stakeholders such as regulatory bodies, suppliers, customers, and lenders.
- Perform financial modeling for reports, including financial due diligence and business reviews.
- Optimize working capital to release additional cash within companies.
- Assist in client business transformation strategies, including process and reporting improvements.
Requirements
- Accounting or Finance degree with accounting subjects.
- Interest in obtaining a CA qualification.
- Soft skills including empathy and respect.
- Ability to understand and recognize client needs.
- Ability to work well with colleagues.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Good lateral thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Some work or internship experience.
- Ability to travel to client and FTI offices.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
