About the Role
The Dining Services Team Member supports cafeteria operations and food delivery to neighborhoods, ensuring service that honors the needs of elders and staff with a commitment to customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and stock cafeteria and neighborhood areas
- Prepare and serve hot and cold food in the cafeteria
- Maintain safe food handling and storage practices
- Expedite food delivery to elders and staff
- Professionally field requests for neighborhood meals
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal delivery
- Support utility tasks including dishwashing and maintaining a clean environment
- Operate the cafeteria register
- Report to the manager on duty prior to shift completion
Requirements
- Desire and ability to build relationships with elders
- Willingness to exemplify company brand characteristics of being respectful, friendly, responsive, compassionate, innovative, and fun
- Prior food service experience preferred
