About the Role
Own the foundational primitives and surfaces that power Antimetal's product engineering velocity, service infrastructure, and the connectivity layer between agents and customer environments. Architect and operate systems critical for agent invocations, customer onboarding, and code reviews, including internal admin tooling, deploy and observability pipelines, MCP gateway, and integration substrate. Partner closely with product, FDE, and research, ensuring your work compounds across all teams.
Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize development infrastructure including internal admin tooling (Anvil), CI/CD, deploy pipelines, and dev/demo environments.
- Build and maintain core infrastructure for Antimetal's services, including Kubernetes architecture, deployment pipelines, observability (OTEL, Datadog), shared libraries, secret management, and platform abstractions.
- Own the schema, storage, and access patterns for critical data systems such as investigation traces, agent trajectories, resource graph, customer telemetry, and typed blobs.
- Own the MCP gateway for routing tool calls, OAuth and credential management for customer integrations, deployment and lifecycle of self-hosted MCP servers, and the unified integration catalog.
- Set the bar for production-readiness at Antimetal.
- Ensure data integrity is non-negotiable.
- Ensure reliability and enterprise trust for connectivity, including token refresh at scale, health checks, and isolation.
- Maximize the productivity of every engineer at Antimetal.

- Proficient in TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience operating production services on Kubernetes.
- Proven ability to take ambiguous goals from prototype to production.
- Ability to use customer feedback and operational data to drive product and architectural decisions.
- Strong code and data modeling skills.
- Take a product-focused approach to platform work.
- Measure success by engineer adoption and satisfaction.
- Aggressively use AI in personal engineering workflow.
- Experience with MCP, OAuth, API gateways, or multi-tenant integration platforms (Bonus).
- Experience with modern observability (OTEL, distributed tracing) and SRE best practices (Bonus).
- Experience building internal admin or developer tooling consumed by humans and agents (Bonus).
- Experience working on agent or LLM systems (Bonus).
- Identify as a builder.
- Excited to work in-person.
- Love working in a startup environment.
