About the Role

As a founding member of our Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and real-world impact. You will work hand-in-hand with our most forward-thinking, strategic customers to transform complex L&D workflows into autonomous, high-impact AI agents. By translating customer challenges into reusable platform capabilities, you will play a central role in establishing our FDE function from the ground up and shaping the future of AI-first learning.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy Autonomous Intelligence: Partner directly with our strategic enterprise customers to map complex L&D workflows, pin-pointing high-impact opportunities for agentic AI integration.
  • Architect Custom AI Agents: Design, build, and deploy bespoke AI agents that integrate seamlessly with customer systems and the Docebo Agent Hub.
  • Drive Platform Evolution: Translate hands-on customer insights into foundational platform enhancements, turning bespoke client solutions into scalable features for our broader ecosystem.
  • Own the Product Lifecycle: Take full ownership from discovery and system architecture to production deployment, monitoring, and iterative optimization.
  • Build the Discipline: Shape the founding FDE team culture, operational rituals, and internal playbooks while defining our technical roadmap and cross-functional org design.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building, shipping, and maintaining production-grade full-stack software products.
  • A strong customer-centric focus with the confidence and communication skills to engage directly with enterprise stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to quickly build prototypes, experiment boldly, and iterate based on real-world usage and customer feedback.
  • Proficiency in our core tech stack, including frontend (React, TypeScript) and backend development (Next.js, TypeScript).
  • Strong architectural background with solid experience navigating distributed systems, AWS, Kubernetes, and LLM providers.
