About the Role
Join First Order Effects (FOE) as an Electromechanical Technician and play a key role in setting the standards for hardware production. You will turn designs into shipped hardware, contributing to the infrastructure for the autonomous era.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly, wiring harnesses, panel wiring, and integration for MESH and the dock.
- Operate and program shop tools including CNC, lathe, mill, 3D printers, and hand tools.
- Fabricate, fit, and finish parts, identifying and flagging design issues.
- Support test and deployment activities.
- Maintain shop organization, tidiness, and safety.
Requirements
- Experience with marine or defense builds.
- Familiarity with crimping and harness standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620.
- A background in welding, machining, or composites.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
