About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members while helping create a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
