About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, quick response, and teamwork while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative culture and acting with integrity.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or visitor authorizations as directed, and support orderly access for staff and guests while following location procedures.
Communicate with site contacts, coworkers, and/or first responders when needed to relay updates, support incident response, and help maintain continuity of daily operations.

Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
