About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, quick response, and teamwork while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative culture and acting with integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or visitor authorizations as directed, and support orderly access for staff and guests while following location procedures.
  • Communicate with site contacts, coworkers, and/or first responders when needed to relay updates, support incident response, and help maintain continuity of daily operations.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
