About the Role
The Operations Manager will lead and oversee IT operations supporting Federal Government programs, ensuring compliance with ITSM best practices, managing resources, and maintaining high system availability, performance, and customer satisfaction. Experience supporting DoD customers and operating in secure, mission-critical environments is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily IT operations in support of Federal Government programs.
- Implement and enforce ITSM processes and industry best practices.
- Manage operational performance, staffing, schedules, and resources.
- Coordinate with Government stakeholders to ensure mission success.
- Monitor service delivery, identify operational risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, metrics, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Government policies, security requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to technical and operational personnel.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (minimum requirement).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in IT operations utilizing IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices within the Federal Government.
- Preference for experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience serving in a senior IT management role supporting Federal Government operations.
