About the Role
One of New York's leading personal injury law firms is seeking a career-minded, bilingual Litigation Paralegal Trainee to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated, professional individual interested in building a career in personal injury litigation. Comprehensive training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in managing all aspects of personal injury litigation.
- Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and courts.
- Maintain organized electronic case files and ensure deadlines are met.
- Learn to draft legal documents, including Notices of Claim, Summons and Complaints, Bills of Particulars, Discovery Demands and Responses, Subpoenas, and trial preparation materials.
- Learn New York court filing procedures and assist with electronic filings.
- Learn to manage cases from intake through trial while taking on increasing responsibility as training progresses.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional client service.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented and dependable.
- Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new case management software.
- Positive attitude with a genuine interest in personal injury litigation.
- Eager to learn, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be prepared to take on increasing responsibility.
