About the Role

The Dishwasher will sort, wash, and return dishes and utensils to food operations throughout the hotel, maintaining a clean and efficient workstation and expediting clean dishes and utensils to the cook's line and other areas of Food and Beverage.

Responsibilities

• Properly fill and maintain the dish machine according to health department guidelines.
• Unload dish machine, stack, store, and return dishes and utensils to proper areas.
• Empty garbage cans in the dish area and throughout the kitchen.
• Maintain dish area, including floors, walls, and counter areas, to hotel and health department standards.
• Sweep and mop floors in the dish room and kitchen.
• Clean and replace floor mats.
• Restock areas with required supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50–100 pounds occasionally.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Skills

• Previous Stewarding experience preferred.
• Service orientation.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
