About the Role
Growth Marketing Operations seeks a Project Manager to bring structure to complex, cross-functional workflows, stabilize execution, and improve how work moves from intake through launch and support. This role involves coordinating across business and technical teams, designing operating models, and creating ownership structures, planning mechanisms, and visibility for marketing and operational programs.
Responsibilities
- Audit current marketing and operational workflows, including intake, handoffs, dependencies, approvals, and failure modes.
- Build current-state process maps, identify bottlenecks, and manage intake and traffic control.
- Establish visibility into in-flight work, including timelines, owners, risks, and dependencies.
- Identify operational gaps such as under-scoping, inconsistent tracking, or over-reliance on manual coordination, and recommend solutions.
- Lead cross-functional coordination across Acquisition, Data Science, Commercial Operations, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders.
- Build and formalize intake models, ownership frameworks, escalation paths, and launch-readiness checkpoints.
- Create troubleshooting and triage workflows for efficient issue routing and consistent exception handling.
- Build practical infrastructure including documentation, dashboards, alerts, status visibility, and automation-ready processes.
- Translate ambiguous business needs and technical dependencies into clear project plans, milestones, handoffs, and decision points.
- Partner with stakeholders to standardize, automate, reassign, simplify, or stop processes.
- Pilot improved ways of working, gather feedback, iterate, and stabilize new models.
- Improve operating quality by reducing coordination overhead, surfacing risks earlier, and strengthening accountability.
- Provide data-informed program-level updates, surface risks, and facilitate stakeholder trade-offs.
- Help build durable PMO mechanisms for planning, execution, and visibility across a portfolio of workflows.
Requirements
- Structured operator capable of understanding suboptimal workflows and creating clearer paths forward.
- Ability to drive day-to-day execution and redesign systems for durability.
- Effectiveness in working across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong judgment regarding process introduction, simplification, and automation.

- 4+ years of project management, business operations, marketing operations, or similar cross-functional experience leading small to mid-sized projects.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving process mapping, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and operational execution.
- Experience building or improving workflows spanning multiple teams, systems, and handoffs.
- Experience using project management and workflow tools for timelines, dependencies, ownership, and status visibility.
- Ability to identify operational gaps, drive follow-through, and maintain momentum across teams with differing priorities.
- Experience in growth marketing operations, lifecycle or enrollment marketing, implementation, commercial operations, or a similar cross-functional operating environment is preferred.
- Experience designing or improving intake systems, RACI or ownership models, SLAs, launch-readiness processes, dashboards, alerts, and workflow documentation is preferred.
- Experience coordinating issue triage or operational troubleshooting across multiple stakeholder groups and systems is preferred.
- Experience working with technical, data, or engineering teams and translating dependencies into actionable project plans is preferred.
- Familiarity with automation, AI-assisted operations, and workflow tooling is preferred.
