About the Role

Hudson Pacific Properties (HPP) is seeking a Portfolio Management Senior Analyst to assist the Portfolio Management team with joint venture (JV) management, portfolio performance evaluation, key project execution, investment analyses, and monthly and quarterly deliverables. This role offers cross-functional experience and executive-level exposure within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the ongoing management, maintenance, and optimization of key JV relationships, including direct interaction with executives and counterparts within HPP’s investment partner organizations.
  • Develop and underwrite business cases to evaluate significant capital investment and repositioning of high-profile assets across the portfolio.
  • Analyze actual investment spend and corresponding asset metrics to quantify investment performance.
  • Produce ongoing reporting requirements of the Portfolio Management department, inclusive of JV partner and lender deliverables, monthly portfolio performance, ground lease projections, and monthly Accounts Receivable analyses.
  • Oversee loan administration including lender reporting, reserve draws, cash management, construction invoicing, and ad-hoc debt analysis.
  • Design, develop, and implement process improvements to drive enhanced efficiencies and portfolio performance visibility.
  • Support the company-wide operating and capital budget process, including creation of portfolio-level variance analyses and executive presentations.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and regional teams to assist with Yardi requests and variance analysis at both the property and portfolio level.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the corporate and regional teams on ad-hoc analyses and presentations, requiring interaction with various departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with preferred major in technical discipline (Finance, Real Estate, Business, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering).
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, commercial real estate, investment banking, private equity, financial consulting, or accounting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, IF Functions, SUMPRODUCT, Embedded Formulas).
  • AI and data literacy: skilled at using AI tools to draft, summarize, and analyze information, with attention to accuracy and data integrity. Able to write effective prompts, build reusable templates, and translate business questions into clear inputs/outputs for reporting and AI assisted workflows.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, including building executive-level presentations.
  • Knowledge of Yardi accounting software and Argus modeling software preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience building custom models and reports.
  • Comfortable in a high-visibility, dynamic work environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize competing deliverables.
